New Years Resolutions 2021!
As we start the new year with great intentions to get or stay healthy and fitter, we are once again facing challenging times with gyms unable to open in Tier 4. At Northwest Health and Fitness we are here for you all the time and offer all our services online via Facetime/Skype/Zoom or other online video services. You will receive full written programs and guidance via telephone/text/email or video conferencing. Don't let lockdown or restrictions stop you from reaching your goals and entering 2021 with a positive mental attitude and looking after your mental and physical health.
We are currently facing difficult times around the world with the Coronavirus pandemic and the huge impact it is having both personally and professionally to millions of people. My feeling is that the more we stick together (while distancing!) during these times, the better, and each person should be able to find a way to help another.
We will be offering all services via Facetime and Skype or other video calling apps and bespoke program designing to those who would like this service.
Here at Northwest Health and Fitness we are able to offer an array of services to help with, including but not limited to:
Pain Management or recovery from injury or surgery As many hospital and physiotherapy appointments are currently being delayed or cancelled we can talk to you about a program to ease and manage your pain during these times.
Mental Health Many people depend on gym visits, or group classes or their own personal training plan, not only as a way to stay fit and physically healthy but also to maintain good mental health. Not having that outlet can make it difficult to stay in a positive mental state and we are here to help keep that spirit in a positive place.
I will post further about other specialist services we offer here at Northwest Health and Fitness and if you have any further enquiries please don't hesitate to call or message.
Stay safe and well.
I hear this so much and have many clients who believe they have to work around an issue or accept it. This often not the case its just you've never been shown how to deal with it.
I recently met with a gentleman who had served in the British Army and been badly injured 7 years ago. He had been living in such pain since in his back and unable to kneel down, or even get down to the floor and certainly unable to get back up again. After assessing him and assisting his movements and explaining what to feel with certain movements he was able to kneel and stand after just one session! If you don't know how to work with your body, and what to feel, especially after an injury, chances are you can cause further damage or it makes you feel like giving up, or accepting, "this is the way I am now".
I believe that there are so many people out there suffering when with just a little help, your quality of daily living can certainly be improved.
If this sounds familiar to you, please get in touch.
I can arrange to visit you in your home if this is a more comfortable setting for you.
So the kids are back to school after summer and you have the chance to get your routine back. Is it the same routine you have been in before where you don't take time to look after you?
So many people live with pain or discomfort and feel that's 'just the way you are'; well it doesn't have to be that way.
There is often a simple solution to helping you live pain free and have more energy and strength to deal with day to day living. Maybe you have a bigger goal of running your first 5k or more? Whatever you would like to achieve, we can help you do it! Get in touch now for your free consultation.
